Paper (by Tokyo University & Siglead Inc.) submitted to ISSCC 2011 accepted

Based on joint-research of Tokyo University (Dr. Ken Takeuchi's research team, Dept. of Electrical Engineering and Information Systems, Tokyo University) and Siglead, a paper titled ''95%-Lower-BER 43%-Lower-Power Intelligent Solid-State Drive (SSD) with Asymmetric Coding and Stripe Pattern Elimination Algorithm'' has been submitted to ISSCC 2011 and accepted.

This new algorithm can achieve 43% reduction of SSD power consumption as well as significant improvement (up to 95% reduction) of BER. For more information, please visit ISSCC 2011 (Feb. 2011) and go to enjoy the presentation given by Takeuchi Lab, Tokyo University. For detailed schedule of presentation, please refer to ISSCC 2011 homepage.

ISSCC (International Solid-State Circuits Conference) is well known as Olympic of semiconductor industry. Held in San Francisco USA every February, it is one of the highest-level of international conference hosted by IEEE. Highlighting the implementation of NAND/SSD innovation and its theoretical background, ISSCC becomes one of most important global forum in industry and well reported by the media. It is also a good opportunity for engineers working at the cutting edge of IC design and application to maintain technical currency, and to network with leading experts.
